TEMPERATURE HUMIDITY CHAMBER SELECTION
Dexiang is a temperature humidity test chamber manufacturer offering benchtop, programmable cabinet and walk-in configurations for climatic aging, damp heat and reliability testing. A useful quotation begins with the required test method, usable workspace, temperature-humidity profile and specimen load.
Send the standard or customer procedure, setpoints, ramp, dwell, cycles and acceptance criteria.
Define dimensions, quantity, mass, orientation, fixtures and circulation clearance.
State whether specimens operate during exposure and their maximum heat dissipation.
Confirm site power, water, drainage, communication, calibration and FAT requirements.
CONTROL CONDITIONS
Humidity capability changes with dry-bulb temperature, dew point, refrigeration capacity and water system design. Published limits must therefore be reviewed against the exact operating point and test load.
Confirm setpoints, allowable deviation, fluctuation, spatial uniformity and the applicable measurement condition.
Separate average from linear rate, heating from cooling, and empty-chamber data from loaded performance.
Specimen size, rack position and blocked airflow can change recovery time and condition uniformity.
Identify whether surface condensation is required, permitted or prohibited during transitions.
Review water quality, automatic supply, reservoir access, consumption, drain route and maintenance.
Define programs, data interval, alarms, USB/network export, remote access and audit needs.
SPECIMENS AND FAILURE RISKS
The chamber exposes specimens to controlled temperature and humidity. It does not by itself measure corrosion, insulation resistance, adhesion, dimensional change or service life; those conclusions require the prescribed inspection or measurement before, during or after exposure.
CONFIGURATION COMPARISON
Choose the smallest configuration that provides usable clearance, required performance under load and practical access for fixtures, cables and maintenance. Final model data must be confirmed in the quotation.
| Decision | Benchtop | Programmable cabinet | Walk-in |
|---|---|---|---|
| Best fit | Small components, coupons and limited laboratory space. | Routine component, assembly and batch reliability programs. | Large assemblies, racks, complete products or high batch quantity. |
| Selection focus | Footprint, usable workspace, noise and available utilities. | Volume, temperature range, humidity envelope, rate and test load. | Room size, panel construction, floor load, access, heat load and site services. |
| Installation | Verify bench strength, ventilation, water and drain access. | Confirm floor clearance, service access, power, water and drainage. | Requires site drawing, assembly route, ventilation and engineering review. |
| Product-page intent | Benchtop temperature humidity test chamber | Programmable temperature humidity test chamber | Walk-in temperature humidity test chamber |
TEST ROUTE BOUNDARIES
Related equipment may share temperature or moisture terminology but creates a different stress mechanism. Confirm the method before substituting one chamber type for another.
Choose it when humidity control is not required. It may offer a different low-temperature range, rate or cost.
Uses rapid transfer or separate zones to create abrupt temperature exposure; it is not the same as programmed change in one workspace.
Uses pressurized moisture above atmospheric pressure. Ordinary 85/85 damp heat does not require a pressure vessel.
Pharmaceutical stability work may require different ranges, mapping, monitoring, documentation and regulatory controls.
STANDARDS AND METHOD REVIEW
A chamber can provide conditions used by a method; that does not automatically certify the complete test. Final conformity depends on the selected configuration, verified operating point, specimen preparation, loading, sensors, cycle, tolerances and evaluation.

FAQ
In many procurement contexts the terms overlap. Confirm that the proposed climatic chamber independently controls the temperature and relative-humidity conditions required by your method.
Relative humidity depends on dry-bulb temperature and water-vapour content. Refrigeration, humidification, dehumidification and dew-point limits create a usable operating envelope; review the required points before ordering.
Use the specimen envelope, quantity, fixtures, airflow clearance, mass and heat load. Nominal litres alone do not confirm usable loading or recovery performance.
Not automatically. Rates are often stated for an empty chamber and under defined ambient conditions. Ask for the rate definition and an engineering review of your load.
The required operating point must fall inside the verified temperature-humidity envelope. Also define duration, specimen power, ramp, data and acceptance requirements.
Select a walk-in configuration when assemblies, racks, loading quantity or access requirements exceed a cabinet chamber. Site construction, floor loading, heat load and utilities then require project review.
Yes when the chamber, ports, wiring, fixtures, load control and safety system are configured for the application. Provide voltage, current, heat dissipation and monitoring details.
Water-quality requirements depend on the humidification system and manufacturer specification. Confirm conductivity or resistivity, supply pressure, tank arrangement, drainage and maintenance before installation.
METHOD-MATCHED CHAMBER SELECTION
Send the method, climate profile, specimen dimensions, quantity, heat load, required change rate, utilities and documentation needs. Dexiang will review benchtop, programmable cabinet or walk-in options before confirming the configuration and quotation.
